Oklahoma State Senator Adam Pugh, R-Edmond, chair of the Senate Education Committee, welcomed Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders today at the National Summit on Education, hosted by ExcelinEd in Oklahoma City. 

The event, running from Nov. 13 to 15, brought together policymakers, educators and thought leaders to discuss transformative strategies for improving education nationwide.

AG Drummond: “Reject Clemency”

In a press release today, Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond is asking the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board to reject clemency for a child sexual predator and murderer who committed one of the most depraved and gruesome crimes in Oklahoma history.

Kevin Ray Underwood is scheduled to be executed Dec. 19 for the attack and murder of 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolin, who resided next door to him in Purcell. Underwood planned the murder over the course of several months, scheming to abduct, rape and kill the innocent fifth-grader… then he give in to his fantasies of cannibalism.

Vote Trump to Protect Indian Country

Analysis: Indian Country, just like the rest of America, has a choice to make in this election cycle. 

One party wants to roll back excess regulation, shrink the administrative state, and promote personal agency and individual responsibility; the other side wants big government to dictate nearly every aspect of American life — from the car you can drive to how you can use your own land. 

In my view, as a member of the Cherokee Nation, our Native values of tribal sovereignty and self-determination are best aligned with President Donald J. Trump and the Republican Party.

Judicial Retention Voter Guide

Oklahomans are an honest, straightforward, hardworking people, but our court system is deeply corrupt. Politicians come and go, but Courts run the horror show and the “reform” enacted in 1967 made it much worse. The Oklahoma judiciary leans so hard left that some law professors warn students that they will never make a living in law, if registered Republican or thought to be honestly conservative.

By the Grace of God, some lawyers “fight the good fight” regardless.
